Pierre Mallais was born in Iserlohn Germany, July 31st, 1965. His dad was in the military. So, as a result, he has been lucky enough to have lived in different areas of Canada, including; Quebec, New Brunswick, Ontario, Manitoba, British Columbia, and Alberta. He joined the Canadian Army in 1982 and was a Combat Engineer for 33 years. He has participated in 6 overseas deployments. Throughout his life, Pierre has loved drawing and reading comics. In 2016 he was released from the Army and went to art school in order to pursue his dream of becoming a comic book creator/artist. He lives in St Albert AB, with his spouse, two sons, a German Shepherd, and two cats. Pierre has been creating art and comics steadily for the past two years. He is friendly, and easy going, and likes to chat about cool stuff with everyone and anyone.

Pierre was a qualified Counter IED Operator (bomb suit guy like in ‘The Hurt Locker’) though luckily did not have to fill that role on his last two tours in Afghanistan.
