Jacqueline Huskisson is a professional visual artist from Calgary Alberta. Through repeated pattern, installations, comics, and illustrated worlds of ridiculous creatures doing silly things, Jacqueline is interested in exploring the human condition and the self, through philosophies like the failure, lowbrow and the absurd.
Jacqueline received a Bachelors of Fine Art in printmaking from ACAD in 2011, and a Master’s of Fine Art from the Belfast school of art in 2017. Jacqueline has exhibited locally and internationally and has been featured in a variety of magazines. Jacqueline’s comics are mainly self-published and have been apart of a few collections, Jacqueline is interested with my comic work to explore the abstract, in relation to the self and exploration of what can be accomplished with fine arts through comics.
